“Gattaca” in Dataodyssey is the mission control window, which is docked in the left part of the screen when it starts. If you close this window, you can then open it, using the \View\ menu item.

Gattaca contains:

- Buttons, permitting to create new missions, save current mission as a plan and open any plan to create a new mission on its basis;

- Area with the name of a current mission.

    When you open lots of missions in several windows, it's hard to find the required mission. All these missions will have tree-view with the hierarchy and order according to history of their creation of one from another. Find the required mission in Gattaca and click it. Gattaca will put forward this mission window and activate there the selected mission page.

    The names of detailed missions in Gattaca are of blue color, summary missions – of green.

    The name of the selected mission will be displayed below the tree in a special area.
